"We are living in a knowledge economy in which the first thing to recognise
is no single person is smart enough by themselves to be genuinely successful."
Congratulations to Heather Townsend on the imminent release of her new book, the Financial Times Guide to Business Networking. The book opens with the above quote and it is one that we proudly identify ourselves with.
In other developments, the last year has been an exceptionally busy time for Shinergise... successful projects include:
- a new Mission and Purpose programme for a major multinational; - Development & Deployment of a new functional competency framework for the same client; - Design & delivery of a comprehensive Leadership Academy programme for a high tech multinational; - a Long Term Strategy Development Programme encompassing Open Innovation and new routes to global markets.
Changes bring success and successes bring change - building on a strong track record of successful candidate placement, our Career Coaching and CV Services will continue to be provided by Christine, whilst Hamish is focused on global strategic business development and in his spare tim completing the book on our Leadership Excellence programme. Website management will now be taken on by another staff member, freeing up our time to focus on design and delivery of strategy development programmes.
Later this month we'll publish our first two whitepapers - one on Team Trust Drivers, the other built around the wisdom in our Selling Skills for Non-Sales Professionals programme - our website analytics show that both topics have proved popular hits in Google searches by people visiting Shinergise! Recently we have done a lot of work on the Team Trust Drivers front that has demonstrated that one of the biggest weaknesses in organisations is the understanding and skills of how to internally sell ideas - hence the two being released side-by-side make a lot of sense.
We remain committed to maximising our clients' ROI on the unique blend of consultancy and coaching that Shinergise offers. We are delighted to welcome new associates to the partnership and we'll introduce you to those in the coming months.
Thanks to specific client interactions, we have also decided to withdraw from sale the IP licenses behind our programmes as our clients have kindly asked us not to enable their competitors to do battle with the same weapons! I'd like to personally thank them for highlighting their value to their organisation and we are grateful to all our clients for their continued support.
Shinergise's insight and wisdom features in a new book, "The Financial Times Guide to Business Networking" by Heather Townsend which debuts in early July and is already available on Amazon.
The integrated suite of organisation development and leadership coaching tools that form the Leadership Excellence model are being pioneered with key clients and will be the subject of a new book that we aim to complete editing towards the end of 2011. Work in the last 12 months has led to smarter linkages that leverage the modules that we'd become recognised for and are now driven by the common principles and shared logic of the Creative Conversations "engine" at its heart.
We're working with partners in Asia-Pacific, the US and Europe to continue to offer global reach and the coming months will see activity on the ground in all these markets.
Regards to all our clients, both old and new!
Hamish.
